33 Million Reasons!

Thank you for welcoming Kiley and I back to the Pacific Southwest Movement. Your overwhelmingly strong vote of affirmation was the exclamation point on a process that your District Board and General Superintendent walked through prayerfully and thoroughly.

As I shared at the conference, we have 33 Million Reasons to do what we do...33 Million people in our region who need Jesus.

What does that number do to your heart?

- I’m praying for each pastor, leader, and church (pray with me), that our hearts would be broken.

- I’m praying that we would be willing to do anything short of sin to introduce our neighbors, family, friends, and co-workers to Jesus.

- I’m praying that we would be ready to say “yes” to the Spirit’s call to innovate, to stretch, to grow, and to take risks for the Kingdom.

Paul wrote, “Jesus is the one we proclaim, admonishing and teaching everyone with all wisdom, so that we may present everyone fully mature in Christ. To this end I strenuously contend with all the energy Christ so powerfully works in me.” - Colossians 1:28-29

This is our Savior’s heart… and this is what it means to Be the Church. Let’s follow Him!
